Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry

Alot of you have seen these already. They've been on facebook for a prolonged period of time.

Let's start our day with a cup of coffee. I was obviously still in my apartment when I took this picture. Now however, I'm back in Jackson living with mis parientes, y trabaje a la japonés restorante.

But like I said waaaay back in time! This is the Eames Era. And their lead singer, Ashlin Phillips is just about the cutest thing ever.

B&W:

BLURRRY

Yeah, it looks like a screamo band, it's not though.

Some tall people. Thanks alot, tall people.

So why do I have pictures of high school girls going to prom?

Because I went to prom with one of 'em! And I had a blast with [info]morning_rose! I kinda need to call her, or visit her. Either/or.

So later on, like waaaaay later on, me and mis amigos, Guido, 9K, and Earth made a trip to Atlanta to see Minus the Bear. We stopped at Jack's on the way. Apparently Pat thought it was the same thing as Jack in the Box, but nope, it was delightfully undelightful, and seemingly gross. Which works well for me, because apparently I like eating gross things like Peanurky Cream Pie Sandwiches.

These dudes are tough.

The scenery in Alabama.

APPLE PIEEEEEEE!!! (Only Anna would truly appreciate the moment of Apple Pie.)

So these guys are plotting something.

And I took a picture of Eric's leg and hand?

The deformed M&M! It was...............well, alright.

Pat and Russell, having fun with the camera.

And here I am thinking, "oh guys..."

And this is what it came out looking like:

And then later on in the city, they did it again. Russell looks so happy in this one.

And of course, we decided to play with the self-timer. These are what we got:

No hands!

haha we're throwing down in this one.

And of course the robot:

And then Eric decided to try on my cowboy hat.

We saw sooooooooooooooooooo many "W" stickers, we decided to make a drinking game. We didn't know what to make of this sticker though. It reads: "W^2, THE QUAGMIRE".

And then we followed this car, and lo and behold we got to waffle house.

La Fonda.

Minus the Bear. Such a good band.

We looked under our sink, and we found the BADGER5!

Eric is so tired.

As is Russell.

BUT JULIAN ISN'T! (Just confused.)

Russell wears the hat well.

We ate at Willy's. It was pretty good, but apparently not as good as Chipotle from what patasaurus tells me.

THE WORLD OF COKE!!

I'm obviously ecstatic.

Up the magic yellow elevators.

The two-four.

You have no idea. Russell is OBSESSED with dudes on roadbikes.

Ha.

Mt. Polar Bear!!

This is just about the cutest picture I've EVER seen.

Mean Joe Greene.

Korean, Arabic.

And the illustrious coca cola Game Gear in its natural habitat.

Coke in space.

hot.

Max Headroom!

I don't think it's so new anymore, actually.

It's always a partytime with us guys.

Sukashi tosawayaka. Does ANYONE know what the hell that means?

hot.

Hot.

Hot!

HOT!! This is where we get to try different kinds of coke. First was the domestics.

I made a suicide containing: Coca Cola Classic, Diet Coke, Caffeine free diet coke, sprite, barq's root beer, fanta strawberry, fanta orange, fanta grape, tab, and who knows what else!

I love gross. Gross gross gross. Here it goes down. down into my belly.

Weird fountain thing.

All sorts of weird stuff.

Eric knows what's up. He hit up the imports.

And here they are. From left to right:
1.) Stoney Ginger Beer - S. Africa
2.) Veggie Beta Apricot -Japan
3.) ??? Apple - China
4.) Fanta Fruit Punch - Central America
5.) Fanta Lemon - Israel
6.) Kin Lemon-Lime Cider - Korea

Alot of the same stuff. Some different things. The Pineapple Grapefruit was good.

This however, was absolutely terrible. If you've ever had Campari, it tastes exactly like this. Really freaking gross.

Ginger Ale, Orange, Orange Cola (Orange soda and Coke) and Fanta Passionfruit.

And Coca-Cola from around the world.
Chinese

Japanese

Somalian.

Trink Coca-Cola! (I think this is S. African/Africaaner [however you spell that]

uhh...

So I thought the first one was Chinese, but nope. This one is. Ha!

This is in Cyrillic. Anna knows where it's at.

And here's how you say...yeah you know.

I like this one alot.

We made it out. And we were all coked out. I never want to do that again. It was far too much soda. And probably not worth the $9 I paid to get in.

Eric dropped his shoe. Aww.

Curveball!

Pat's last name is Fries so yeah uhh...

You have no idea how much Eric loves salt.

And of course, Orange Julius.

This is SO wrong.

Jump!

Le Unibombere.

Sweet Home Ala-....gah not a good song at all.

Another self-timer.

So fast forward to June 1st. When we had our first Belafonte party. Pat's ready for law school now! He's got his preLaw mag and Bud Light.

We broke a bottle of champagne against the house to ensure it was seaworthy. Indeed, it was.

And I bled from it!

Hannah and Rachael.

The Belafonte. (More or less.)

I took a trip to Atlanta with Hugh. I took one picture. It was of a smokestack that says "AWW" on it.

Then Colour Revolt played or something.

This is what the Belafonte is supposed to look like.

Digital picture through the viewfinder of my SLR.

And then I had fun in the backyard.

And such is life:

Have a good summer.

I'm about to enjoy my summer by:
- Going to pubquiz
- Having a pint or two or three
- Listening to [info]noty0urstar's radio show!
- Going to Lollapalooza
- Hanging out with the two hottest girls from Seattle ever.
Like I said, such is life.

THE WORLD OF COKE!
When we went to Atlanta for spring break, we went there too.
And when Josh and I tried the Beverely, we told everyone else to try it too and got picutres of all of them (but it wasn't with my camera so I don't have any pictures). We finally decided that they way they make Beverely is that they take club soda and 10 extra strength tylenol, ground them up, and put them in the club soda, thus making the most disgusting drink ever made.
Did you try the Lemon and passion fruit fanta though? They were pretty good.

Yeah, Lemon and Passion Fanta were amazing.

The Beverly is a Bitter/Apertif. Which is generally used for making cocktails. Even still, it's gross. And actually, it's made from orange peel, which you would think is good.

And that girl you went to prom with, I've seen her around at debate tournaments. She seems pretty good with interp events.
Oh, and I remember that Eric guy from Oak Grove, he was in like 2 of my classes, he seemed chill.
YES, I totally rock. I know people you know. So in a way, we're more connected. haha.

I should have warned you about the Beverly. It was legendary on the ATL choir tour in '03. Crazy stuff.

You boys take the best pictures EVER. I wish I took crazy pictures of myself. What's stopping me, eh?

Yeah that Beverly is as gnarly as Eric's beard. Except, Eric's beard is cool gnarly, Beverly, not so much.

You should take pics! Action photograhy is where it's at apparently.

"Sukashi to sawayaka" would probably be "light and refreshing". I don't have my dictionary handy so I'm guessing on "sukashi".

W^2 - The Quagmire probably means that someone is referring to the second term being a quagmire.

By the way - a bunch of your captions aren't lined up to their corresponding pictures. Might want to go over that. For example, the "Japanese Coca-Cola" caption is actually over the Chinese one. It looks like a bunch in that section got shifted ahead by one.
